Overview

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that we clearly disclose any "material connection" — such as earning a commission — between us and the products or services we mention on the Site. This page explains that relationship.

What Is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is a special tracking link. If you click an affiliate link on the Site and then make a qualifying purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission. This does not change the price you pay.

Our Participation in the Amazon Associates Program

Backyard with Ben is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

No Extra Cost to You

Any commission we earn comes out of the retailer's margin, not from you. Prices are the same whether you use our link or navigate to the product directly.

Our Editorial Independence

We only recommend products, tools and materials we believe are genuinely useful for backyard, gardening, landscaping, outdoor living, BBQ or DIY projects. Whether a link is an affiliate link does not influence our opinions, ratings or recommendations.
